Hi,
Last time I opened my iPhone 3G to clean the lens of the camera because there were some brown spots on it (Don't ask me how lol). After putting the iPhone back together (It wasn't my first time.) I tried to start it and nothing happened. Then I tried connecting it to the computer and nothing happened. Then I tried putting it in DFU mode and I tried to restore it but when I restored it I got Restore error 21.
Anyone knows what wrong?

use jDownloader (or FF + VideoDownloadHelper), grab the mp4, then find something to demux mp4 files so you can extract the AAC file inside. All those sites actually re-encode the audio, so in theory you lose quality, that doesn't happen if you simply rip the audio from the video.

I have a Power Mac G5 2.7dual core with 8GB of RAM. Running OS 10.5, Both the internal hard drives are dead, and I do not have a backup copy of the OS drive. I have a couple questions if anybody could help that would be greatly appreciated.

1. I believe the original hard drive was SATA I, is this correct?

2. This is the hard drive I'm thinking as a replacement(Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073)) is this backwards compatible?
Any other hard drive recommendations are welcomed. I want to keep the capacity between 250-500BG. I am actually going to purchase two and use Time Machine.

3. The Hard drive I'm thinking of purchasing has 16 MB cache, I believe the original hard drive had a 8MB cache will more cache to make a difference in speed or not?

4. Any software suggestions to be able to recover my hard drive and get it back up of it. I did hook it up target disk mode and disk utilities for my MacBook cannot see it? I have Techtool Deluxe

5. What is the best way to recover my hard drive, ie install anew hard drive and work with software all on the G5, or put the G5 in target disk mode and work that way?

Not going to happen, it's very iconic and well designed.

The *only* thing I can see apple doing to the logo is skinning it, besides that it would be an expensive brand experiment with little gain.

ds carts can only do WEP wireless security. if your router is set to anything other than WEP your game will not connect. the dsi hardware itself can connect to other security protocols. thats how you are able to use the browser.

My router is most definitely running with WEP security, what else could be going wrong? I have never been able to connect, ever since I got the game.

OK, I've edited my post to remove the reference. It wasn't my intention to call anyone out by name in particular.

But, however you dress it up, the level of trolling/shouting makes the MR forum very difficult to read sometimes. The ban list helps, but hiding the replies would clean things up even more.

Hi guys,

I'm designing an iPad magazine and having an issue with inconsistent text letter heights. You'll notice the "H" renders higher than the other letters.

This only happens after exporting to jpeg. (72ppi, max quality, progressive) Zooming in the actual indesign file shows the letters are the same height.

I think this is limited to onscreen viewing only. When printing, everything looks normal. Outlining text seems to fix the issue, but I'm hoping it's not the only solution.

Any ideas?

My google maps app has a problem. It will locate me with the blue dot until I zoom out then it shows a completely different city (and it shows the blue locate dot that I'm there?) I've tried a soft and hard reset. Could someone give me some advice please?

MacBook Air with 4gb ram would be much easier and faster for you, put it in a spec case for protection and you'd have decent mobile power in a lightweight package.

Hi

what's the best up scaling media player for Mac? I have VLC, QuickTime
and mplayer installed, but willing to get another one.
With what software can I reenecode up scaled?

Because I have a 27" screen with a resolution of 2560x1440 ;-)

You want to to play upscaled or you eant it to reencode upscaled?

As for playing I would think VLC is technically better because you have dozens of scaling and display options. BUt it all depends on just how much you're upscaling... if you're trying to make 320x240 look like 720p you're going to be disappointed.
