I've decided to try folding again, and I'm trying to run it on my MBP (in sig), but it won't connect to the assignment server. I'm going to leave it running overnight, but it hasn't worked so far. I'm using the console version. Would it be better for me to use InCrease?
I'm coming for you Dread! I'll be spitting out crazy WU's with this machine and my 1.1 GHz Celeron PC!
Thanks.

Go for a new computer. Doesn't sound like it's worth the headache.

I don't see an iTunes forum, this is about syncing, so I hope it's in the right place...
I'm trying to update my apps in iTunes (latest version), I click ok about age restricted blah blah, then I get this:
"This item is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later."
:mad:item?? what item? I'm trying to update my apps!! WTF?!? If there is a problem with one app, wouldn't it say so? If there is another problem, why am I getting this error???
I'm trying to update my apps so I can sync my ipad & iphone!

I suggest a good textbook on video and image processing so that you understand the terminology, data types and algorithms that you may need.
Too many people ask for a programming solution without finding out that it's a standard textbook subject or maybe a typical graduate student term project.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no go. Ah, well. I may just reinstall over the weekend.Actually before you do that, try applying the 10.3.7 Combo update (the one that goes from any version of 10.3.x to 10.3.7) - this can help some oddball situations.

For the last day or two the report post functionality has been really slow. It takes 1-2 minutes at least to submit and sometimes times out completely. I've seen at least one other person mention it in the forums so it's not just me...

Would you perfer gangster hand signs, a Borat thumbs up, a hang ten sign, or the middle finger? Agree with the social assessments above.

I've tried to play Kinect once. After screwing around for awhile we finally realized it would just not recognize us with any real accuracy and we had to stop and just use normal controllers. My guess is the minimum distance was the problem, we were within it.
Honestly? Wii. You never notice to sensor bar cable, it never moves. And I don't really understand your complaint about controllers. They all have controllers (except when using Kinect, assuming you can get it to work). It's cheap and has a lot of games your kids will like, plus they can still play your gamecube games.

Ask him to place a piece of cardboard over the hole mounting pattern and punch holes from the opposite side of the rim through the center of the mounting holes. Then match it up to your rim.

I'd recommend Seagate, but why not the 120 GB Momentus 5400.2 (http://www.seagate.com/cda/products/discsales/marketing/detail/0,1081,681,00.html) which should only be marginally more expencive then the 100 GB...? ;)
Thanks, sounds good, I'll look into that, hopefully they'll have it in the UK

Do you mean a clear "film" that you stick on the bottom of a disc, if there is such a thing (I haven't heard of it)? If it's a "film" we're talking about, I wouldn't chance it, as the slot-loading drives have close tolerances and I wouldn't want to risk having something get caught and start ripping off the protective film while the disc is going in or coming out. However, you could always try and let us know what happens. :)

I find the only way to get the Mac to speak properly is to write everything phonetically. Which kind of defeats the purpose.

Macworld reports (http://www.macworld.com/article/145386/2010/01/iphone_trademark.html) that Apple has taken control of a trademark for the term "i-phone" in China after reaching an agreement with the previous holder to resolve a conflict that could have prevented Apple from releasing the iPhone there under its global brand name.Hanwang Technology, a Chinese maker of e-readers and other devices, applied for the i-phone trademark for mobile phones in China in when it also launched a handset by that name that it no longer sells. But the record for that trademark, which several months ago showed Hanwang as the applicant, now lists Apple's name instead, and it displays a new note saying the trademark was transferred.Chinese intellectual property lawyers had previously indicated that Apple would have difficulty launching the iPhone in China under its usual name due to its similarity to that of Hanwang's device and trademark.
Apple launched (http://www.macrumors.com/2009/10/30/iphone-launches-today-in-china/) the iPhone in China in late October with partner carrier China Unicom, which has reportedly exceeded 300,000 units sold (http://www.macrumors.com/iphone/2009/12/29/china-unicom-passes-300000-iphones-sold/) despite a slow launch weekend (http://www.macrumors.com/2009/11/03/china-unicom-reports-only-5000-new-iphone-users-since-launch/).
