What is it? It's a midboard Frame that replaces the Silver Stainless steel to black SS. And since i couldn't find one bloody picture of it completed with an iPhone 4 i just decided to do it myself.

That is what the actual product looks like.

No, they just upgraded the storage capacities, I doubt that they would make another upgrade so soon. Additionally, I've been able to get through .Mac fine this morning, so I think it might just be you having the problems.

If you delete it, and you lock up your phone installing something from Cydia or other, and do a respring/start, SHSH will open automatically and you can SHSH in and fix things. You'll need SBSettings to do so (which will also allow you to go to Power>Safemode and turn things off in Winterboard). Nice to have the option to go in there at will. You can change your password using MobileTerminal (not the one on Cydia, Google for the most recent or go to XSellize for it).

You should probably download RemoveBackground from Cydia and set it through Activator. It'll help clear out anything running in the background and increase your RAM a bit. Seems to me something is running a lot in the background for you to be hovering around 100MB. The packages you have installed seem pretty "stock" so I doubt any of those would be the culprit.

How much data do you have? Apple offers up to 750GB drive in MBP but from aftermarket, you can get up to 1.75TB (1TB+750GB) in the MBP. In the end, this boils down to do you need the portability or not. You already have an iPad so do you think you would be carrying the MBP with you?
For your usage, MBP is fine, as long as you go with a 15" or 17".

That would be really cool actually, they had something like that for PC's a while ago i seem to recall. It was a touch screen keyboard that you could program your own keys for or add your own buttons depending on what you were doing.
And Dancertom, I was just thinking that myself. I wonder how much apple's computers are gonna be hurt by the huge focus on gadgets...

iMac with wired broadband connection. I use airport with internet sharing to connect an ipod touch and macbook to the internet through the imac's broadband connection.
Within the last few days, whenever I shutdown/restart, the internet sharing fails. Checkbox for internet sharing is still checked - I uncheck, select airport options, dialog comes up with all the right information already there, I click OK, click on internet sharing check box, click for internet sharing to start, green light comes on and everything works fine. Until I shutdown/restart - airport starts up OK but not internet sharing.
Only thing I have consciously done recently is install Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection (which actually works very well, giving me access to a remote MS Windows server ....). Removing this does not solve the problem with internet sharing, although I guess it could have modified something or put a file somewhere which deinstalling doesn't fix (I use AppTrap to try to clear all files when removing applications).
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Make sure your tracks are sorted by track number (the left most column) and that you have more than one track selected. Any other sort order, and the join tracks option will be grayed out.

I have a late 2008 as well but a Macbook Pro -I dont know if that makes any different - 2 g ram;1067 Mhz DDR3 ; 2.4 Ghx Intel Core 2 Duo
It may/may not depending how old the machine is. But I have no problem like yours. My advise is to just file a bug report.

Same problem, and DFU mode did squad.
EDIT: Solved it, was a stupid "error code 1013" (so friggen tired right now I kept seeing 3101, good luck finding a fix for that). Had to delete some stuff from the host file and it worked.
Windows:
Step 1. Start –> Programs –> Accessories
Step 2. Run Notepad or WordPad
Step 3. Click “Open..” from File menu.
Step 4. Browse to Windows/System32/drivers/etc
Step 5. In "files of type:" select all documents
Step 6. Open "hosts"
Step 7. Delete all line that has "gs.apple.com" or something like that
Step 8. Hit Save
Step 9. Restore your device
Got the fix from: http://www.redmondpie.com/fix-itunes-error-1013-when-updating-iphone-4-to-ios-4.2.1/

Search eBay for "LaserWriter" and pick up an old Apple LaserWriter. The toner will last you longer than ink, and they are very dependable. Also, drivers will not be trouble since they install with the Mac OS. Toner cartridges are readily accessible on eBay for LaserWriters.

It's a borderline call. Adding a forum is always a compromise between differentiating different types of threads or contributing to "forum bloat", the tendency for the number of forums to continually increase. The iPad forum gets about 22% more activity than the iPod touch forum, and the iPhone forum overshadows them both (the percentages could changer over time). At some point the number of iPod touch help threads might be worth yet another forum. Right now there isn't a huge volume of iPod touch threads. More than a week's active threads are typically on the first or second forum page, not buried and pushed out of sight as a help thread in the main iPhone forum might soon be.
Ok. Thanks. I understand.
Last night when I looked at the front page there were about a hundred more viewers on the Touch then the iPad. :)

Great quality too. The quality of their HD downloads are impressive. Since they're owned by Wal-Mart, maybe they'll push the rental pricing down lower across the board.
By the way, good for Sony for offering a direct competitor to their built-in PSN video offerings on their own hardware. Of course, they get paid either way. I'm sure that makes a difference too.

Yes, legality of the pirated movies. That's what I thought that was. I've just never seen something move that quick before. I had read about this in the newspapers before, but I didn't know what it looked like. this was the only place I could think of in the search I did to ask. Thank you.
The word "pirated" is probably your best clue as to its legality or not in your jurisdiction.
It looks like a Usenet search engine.
For my money, I'd rather spend money renting a movie rather than spending hours downloading dodgy rips in obscure codecs.

I guess I'll have to let you off on that one, then. And the pref pane SMP client is chugging along fine, this morning InCrease said that it had about 39 hours left.
